Toronto is an amazing city all year round but there is something special about being in Toronto in the fall. There are so many ways to enjoy yourself in Toronto during the autumn months and you will never run out of things to do in the capital city of the province of Ontario. Toronto is the biggest city in Canada in terms of population and the fourth most populous city in North America.
Toronto is one of the most cosmopolitan and multicultural cities in the world and with so many people residing in the city, it is little wonder there are many amazing entertainment spots to visit in the fall.
Canada’s Wonderland
If you are looking for a great place to visit in the fall with friends and family, they do not come much more entertaining than Canada’s Wonderland. The amusement park has been open since 1981 and is located to the north of Toronto. There are over 200 attractions at Canada’s Wonderland, with a huge choice of rollercoasters, water rides, and children’s play areas. Canada’s Wonderland is also home to a selection of great shows and events, including the Halloween Haunt in October. The event usually runs through to the 31st of October, with several rides and experiences to entertain the whole family.
Scotiabank Arena
As the temperate begins to tumble outside, head into the Scotiabank Arena for plenty of entertainment this fall. Scotiabank Arena is located next to Union Station and that makes it easy to visit from anywhere in the city. This fall, there are some amazing acts coming to Scotiabank Area, including Aerosmith & The Black Crowes, Jurassic World Live Tour, Duran Duran, Wu-Tang Clan & Nas, Shania Twain, Depeche Mode, Bruce Springsteen, and Kiss. There is also plenty of ice hockey action thanks to the Toronto Maple Leafs, who play their home games at Scotiabank Arena.
Great Canadian Casino Resort
The Great Canadian Casino Resort has been a long time coming but it has finally opened its doors in Toronto this summer. It took five years to construct the casino and it is going to become one the most amazing entertainment spots to visit in Toronto this fall. The casino cost $1 billion to bring to life and with 328,000 square feet of space, it is the biggest casino resort in Canada. The casino is home to over 4,500 different slot machines, 145 live table games, and VIP rooms for those who want to up the stakes. A 400 room hotel accompanies the casino and boasts an indoor swimming pool and steam room. In partnership with Live Nation, the Great Canadian Casino Resort will also feature an entertainment venue that can accommodate up to 5,000 people.

This outdoor pop-up is only available during the fall and is the perfect place to meet with friends. Fall n’ Leaves is situated in downtown and is home to a wide range of food and drink, including offerings from local producers. There will be a BBQ, wood-fired pizza, pumpkin soup, and pumpkin pie to enjoy. If you are planning on visiting with a big group of friends or family, you are advised to book tickets in advance as Fall n’ Leaves can be extremely popular.
