We got something for you and we swear it’s not a Jell-O prank!
Come March 3rd, Toronto is playing host to the exclusive pop-up exhibit for The Office US. This show has been curated by the same team behind the wildly raved FRIENDS Experience. Of the upcoming show in Toronto, Stacy Moscatelli, Chief Strategy of Original X Products says it is a place where “fans can celebrate the series’ most iconic sets and moments.”
In Toronto, The Office Experience is to be hosted at the Yorkdale Shopping Centre over at Dufferin St. If you are a die-hard fan of the NBC comedy, this is an unmissable experience. The exhibit gives visitors a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to get up close and personal with their favourite tv show. The creators have even used original costumes and props from the show to make the popup more exciting.
Michael’s office is beloved among The Office fans everywhere.
The Office Experience Toronto seeks to recreate some of the show’s most iconic scenes and locations. The set is meticulously constructed to give it the authentic feel of your favourite mid-level regional paper company. You can even get a personalized Dunder Mifflin Employee Badge for about $10 extra.
The exhibit is fully immersive and interactive, meaning you can indulge in your US Office fantasies of picking up a call from Pam’s desk or hiding a Jell-O shot on Dwight’s desk. The pop-up has been created in close consultation with the show’s creator Greg Daniels. Additionally, it also uses original props and items from The Office US.
Because of these factors, visitors will find the tone of the exhibit both personal, and authentic. Josh Markovitz, of Big 100 Radio has this to say about the show.
“If you are an Office superfan or a newbie to the hit show, this is perfect for you.”

From the moment you step foot into the pop-up, you are welcome by all things The Office. From the get-go, there is the receptionist’s desk where Pam Beesly sits for most of the early seasons. As you walk through the recreated sets you will also spot the Annex, Ryan’s Closet, Schrute Farms, and Micahel’s Office. You can even take a moment’s rest on Jim’s desk or mess with Dwight’s things. PS we won’t tell you what the latter’s stapler’s hidden in.
Next, you can visit the Finer Things Club meeting room or even play a game of Dunder Ball in the Annex. Remember the time Kevin brought his chili and spilled it all over the Dunder Mifflin floor (Season 5 Episode 26)? Well, you can relive that moment as well at The Office Experience. Made using realistic props, the infamous spill is a hit photo spot for long-time fans of the show.

The Office Experiece’s Official Store also makes the experience 100% more exciting. Yes, there are the quintessential World’s Best Boss mugs, but the store also has several memorabilia that reference iconic show moments. For example, fans can get a Vod-juice-ka recipe glass, a throwback from the iconic Dunder Mifflin scene from season 5 episode 10. This piece retails for around $14.95.
As an ode to one of the series’ most heart-touching moments, you can now own a (blanket) version of Pam Beesly’s painting of Scranton Business Park. Longtime fans of the show fondly remember the moment when Michael offers to buy his receptionist’s painting to boost her morale. This season 3 episode 17 moment has been immortalized as Pam’s Watercolor Blanket on the site. It currently retails for $59.95
You can also find cheaper items at The Office Experience Store such as a Finer Things Club Enamel Pin and a Chigao Company Tote Bag going for $9.95 and $12.95 respectively. And if you thought it couldn’t get any better, the whole store is designed to look like the Warehouse from Scranton Business Park!

This themed attraction is scheduled to last till June 4th. Registrations/bookings have already started since January 24 so tickets to the early shows may be in short supply. But OGX and Universal plan to run the exhibit till 4th June 2023 so there may be opportunities.
With the size of the pop-up, it will take you approximately 60 minutes to complete your tour. If you are with a large party with 6+ people, you can also get a guided experience on weekends. The team at Yorkdale will allow a gap of 5 minutes between each group so they can have the immersive tour.
The Office Experience Toronto will open only Thursdays through Sundays, with concessions for special days. Getting a premium ticket can get you extra benefits like flexible entry and priority at the entry point ( meaning no waiting in queue). You will also get a personalized Dunder Mifflin Employee badge and a Dunder Mifflin Company Picnic Toronto tote bag!
