1. What is Candlelight?
Imagine experiencing a concert sitting in an aesthetic auditorium, the whole area being illuminated by candlelight. A group of such enthusiasts is the people behind the organization of ‘Candlelight events.‘
In simple terms, the specialty of candlelight events is that you get to enjoy a musical evening along with some good architecture too, where the only source of light is from thousands of candles.
Sounds pretty convincing, right? The in-person experience is even more beautiful.
2. What’s this Program About?
Right before it’s actually the 25th of December, why not start by celebrating the holidays a bit earlier this year? This show by Candlelight has an amazing tentative program scheduled. The audience is sure to be awed by the musician’s talents, which are to be displayed under the light of a thousand candles.
3. When and Where is this Event?
Like every other Candlelight event, this event has also been organized at one of the most awe-inspiring locations in Calgary this time. The venue for this event is The Commons at ATCO Park in Calgary’s 5302 Forand St SW, which is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
4. Duration of the Event
The event is a 60-minute-long show, but the doors to the venue open 45 minutes prior to the starting time, which means you could come early and still get to enter the venue.
This Candlelight Holiday Special is to be held on the 19th of December 2023, and various other dates which can be chosen from the ticket selector, with two different time slots – 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. You may choose anyone according to your convenience while booking your tickets on FEVER.
5. Tentative Program
The tentative program is amazing and has a mind-blowing list of programs scheduled. Starting with Holiday Medley consisting of Hark the Herald Angels Sing, The First Noel till Ave Marie – Franz Schubert, this event has it all. Moreover, of course, there’s The Nutcracker, being the showstopper. Among the list of performers, there will be a String Quartet and a vocalist who will be gracing the stage at this event.
6. Additional Details
The audience attending the concert must be at least 8 years or older and if anyone is below the age of 16 years, then they must be accompanied by an adult or a parent.
