The forever iconic and evergreen singer Celine Dion is all set to make an appearance in the upcoming movie ‘Love Again’, released on the 12th of May, 2023.
Celine took on her Instagram on May 2 to announce through snippets of her character from the movie. She wrote;

Interestingly, Celine is seen performing the character of Celine Dion herself, which makes it all more intriguing and exciting to watch.
The Queen of Ballads has also sung a song for this movie, which again interestingly, shares the same name with it ‘Love Again’. The singer is seen stating five beautiful affirmations which help the characters in the movie through their tough times.
The affirmations are also a message from the singer to live her life fully, which she might have said concerning her disease.
1. Celine Dion’s First Release after Her Diagnosis
This would be her first song release since her diagnosis last year. Celine was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Stiff person syndrome.
The disease causes muscle spasms, abnormal walking, and extreme tightness in the body of the diseases. This results in affecting almost all parts of the distressed person’s life.
Celine said, “Unfortunately, these spasms affect every aspect of my life, sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing the way I’m used to,”.
Hence, known as a queen for a reason, Celine will make her first appearance in the entertainment industry for the first time even after being diagnosed with this disease.
2. Let’s Know More about the Movie ‘Love Again’
Directed and written by Jim Strouse, Love Again is a romantic drama and the plot follows a seemingly tragic story of a young woman who is trying to cope with is fiance’s death.
In the process of doing so, she starts to send texts to her fiance’s old number which now is reassigned to a stranger.
They both start forming a connection. Celine, like herself, plays a crucial role in making both people realize about falling in love again.
The movie stars the glamourous Priyanka Chopra as the lead actress and Sam Heughan as the lead actor. The movie also stars Sofia Barclay. Nick Jonas is also doing a cameo role in this movie.
Celine Dion’s song ‘Love Again’, a track of this movie, is all about second chances in love, even though you’ve had bad experiences earlier. She says in the song,
“Cause you don’t have to move a mountain just keep moving. /Every move is a new emotion. /And you don’t have to find the answers just keep trying. /The sun will rise again, the storms subside again./ This is not the end. /And you will love again.”
