Situated at the very heart of the bustling city of Vancouver, the VanDusen Botanical Garden is an oasis spanning over 55 acres

The garden is home to over 7500+ species of different plants and a variety of flora from all around the world!

Enter into the mesmerizing maze made of 3000 cedars and go bird watching, the VanDusen Botanical Garden has it all!

Fluttering all around the garden, you will find many lovely species of butterflies here.

The VanDusen Botanical Garden is your go-to place to reconnect with nature and experience the great Canadian outdoors

Bound to delight your sense, this 55-acre floral oasis houses 7500+ species of flowers and plants from every corner of the world.

But that’s not all, also here is an Elizabethan-style hedge maze just waiting to be explored.

3. Details about VanDusen Botanical Garden

The VanDusen Botanical Garden is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. between Monday to Friday

The garden also offers guided tours for educational purposes. From April 1 to October 31 (summers) the guided tours of the garden take place daily at 1 p.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Wednesdays.

In the winter (from November 1 to March 31), the guided tours are only available on Sundays at 1 p.m.

A point to remember: the guided tours are weather permissible, so keep your finger crossed for clear skies!

There are no age limits for admittance to the VanDusen Botanical Garden, everyone is welcome! The garden is also wheelchair accessible

4. Tickets to VanDusen Botanical Garden

The ticket prices for the VanDusen Botanical Garden differ according to age groups and entry is free for children under the age of 3 and can be bought from Fever.

For children from the age of 4 to 12, the ticket costs CA$ 6.50 and for youth (ages 13 to 18) as well as senior citizens (65 or older) the tickets are CA$ 9.50.

And for adults who are 19 years or above, the tickets are for CA$ 14.50
