The Preshow of Flyover Canada

As mentioned above, this is a 30 minutes long experience. Before proceeding to the main show, You will enter the preshow area for your preflight briefing and where you will be treated to an up-close and personal glimpse of the magnificent surroundings from the perspective of Canadians.

The company which produced the pre-show used its multimedia storytelling abilities to provide guests with an intimate encounter that revealed the subtle beauty in the mundane. They created Uplift, a multimedia show that tells the tales of five Canadians and their passions while promoting the country’s people and scenery. Their team designed a unique set design as well as a unique architectural area.

Uplift uses a multi-dimensional canvas that includes 2D and 3D animations and 360-degree video projection mapping with special effects like wind, mist, and scents. With film taken in spectacular natural and urban areas around the nation, the concept allows the audience an up-close peek into the characters’ lives.

As we follow the protagonists’ gaze across the area, the stories span from a forest stroll to urban parkour. Finally, as the young woman glances through a window at the spectators, the focus shifts to the show’s visitors. And now, every one of us is a part of the Canadian story.

They expand their visitors’ imaginations to the multitude of experiences that make up their country’s population by focusing exclusively on Canadians and, in particular, by zooming into the lives of five Canadians from around the country.

Now that the guests have already been exposed to the infinite stories that play out below when flying at great altitude in their virtual experience to come, and they will have more reasons to have a shared experience of the Canadian environment that ties them together from coast to coast.
